That's correct. I meant to mention that point. As many of the
folks in the MF Folio II are new to folios, they may not be clear
on how this works. A new Loop number starts only at the "beginning
point." (This folio is complicated by the changing beginning point,
and because the beginning point doesn't correspond with who is doing
the administration.) **Everyone** except the first person on the
routing list will **always** be commenting on slides from **two**
different loops at the same time. Because the two people originally
ahead of me on the routing list have dropped out, I am now the
beginning point of the loop. Even though Brian is making up a fresh
routing list and mailing labels, I am still at the top of the routing
list (i.e., the Loop beginning point), and will stay there until I
drop out.

I was the first person in this circuit to remove four slides and
add four new ones, so I added me entries as "Loop 2." When Brian
received the box, it contained "Loop 1" slides from Stephen Puckett,
Brian Reynolds, Tom Deering, Brenda Nowlan, Erinie Rairdin, and Greg
Menzel, the Joel Alpers guest slides, and "Loop 2" slides from me and
David Lee. Brian will remove his Loop 1 slides and put in new Loop 2
slides. When he goes to the comments page and looks at the Loop 1
slide listing, he will see images listed that a) he already commented
on last time; and b) are no longer in the box. He will need to comment
on the Loop 1 slides that he is seeing for the first time, plus the
Loop 2 slides from me and David. Finally, he will add his Loop 2 image
titles and descriptions to the Loop 2 listing.

Everyone clear on how that works? (Print this out for future reference
if you need to.)

I'll send it to you off-list. I probably should have thought to
return them to Joel when the box was here.

With Priority Mail the charges are the same no matter how far the box
is going, unless the package gets to be over 5 or 6 pounds. In a
few cases a very short travel distance might result in lower charges
by using Parcel Post instead of Priority Mail, but the difference will
not be significant. Unlike UPS, transit times are relatively constant
with Priority Mail, regardless of shipping distance. So compared to
the 7 month estimated circuit time, not a lot can be gained through
optimization. An exception is two participants in the same city,
where the folio can be hand-delivered from one person to the next.
