stitching with QTVR Authoring Tool

does anybody know if it is possible to stitch pictures taken with a 14mm lens on a 35mm film without beeing croped by the QTVR Authoring Tool. (the automatic crop function is off)
20% of my pictures are croped when I try to stitch them with the settings for the 14mm lens (portrait mode),
is there a way to get the full format?
