Scan resolution of 1.5 to 2x the line screen of printing is as much as you need.
But resolution is not the only measure of image quality. And if you have no
experience with cmyk files, you should be prepared for considerable compression of
the density range you see in your transparencies and Ilfochrome prints. When I
want high quality, I trust the scanning to a competent professional with a drum
scanner.
