I made some 5" spools from 8" and 10" spools by cutting them and then
joining them back together with a wooden dowel in the center.  you have to
cut the flanges down on a lathe so they fit in the # 5 camera.  These
spools and the film also fit my # 5 Al Vista.  Ron may have been talking
about color film but I do it on 10" Verichrome.
