You would want much thicker spring material for contact frames.
Something around 1/16 inch.
I've used 1/8 inch aluminum with ok results. The trick is to put
enough pressure on the back to hold tight, but not where you're
bending the material. Also, when not using, take the pressure off.
Spring steel is better, but this will work. Jamie
