Re: Babies in 3-d

Something to think about before you make the important decision on how
to photograph your children in a way that it may mark their life one day:

As a proud father of two children 4 and 7, stereographed from hour one
to yesterday, I can assure you that nothing beats a 3-d close-up slide
of a baby taken indoors with a flash. Most classic stereo cameras
become point & shoot with a modern flash in auto mode, fixed aperture
(say f8), 1/50th speed and focus at 6 feet (I said "close-up").

A good 3-d close-up of your first-born will be treasured for years to
come and will be genuinely enjoyed by your coworkers. Even though my
baby pictures are for our family collection, two of them have won
awards in Detroit last year when the subject was humor.
