Re: It Came From Outer Space in 3D
> Is it worth a couple of hours on a Thursday evening?
Definitely! If you are really into 3D, anything 3D is a must see. :-)
This movie screened in Perth (Oz) several years ago and it was in
Anaglyph format too. Two other anaglyph movies were screened shortly
after this one "The Creature from the Black Lagoon" and "Return of the
Creature". The problem with one or several of these movies (I can't
remember which one(s) was that the hue of the anaglyph tint sometimes
changed through the movie. Luckily I brought several pairs
of glasses to the screenings so I was able to dynamically optimise
my glasses.
Last year the same cinema (Lumiere in Perth) screened 15 3D movies
(one every night at 11pm for two weeks solid). It wore me out
seeing all those movies (especially getting home at 1am+ when I had to
work the next day) but I can definitely say I am glad I saw them all.
Reviews of these movies are at my web site
"http://info.curtin.edu.au/~iwoodsa"
So, go see it, and if you have several pairs of anaglyph glasses in
your collection - take them along.
Andrew.
