As many of you/us are aware, I am a paladin for single lens stereo.
Anaglyphic photography is a cheap and easy way into this process. Although I haven't shot an anaglyph for more than two decades, I am now altering my lenses to shoot this way again. The reason.., as Dr. George pointed out, an uncomplicated display (internet presentation in my case). "Anaglyph has many advantages when used as an educational tool in books or also in postcards, etc., mainly because you don't need to train the viewer...".
Let me add, that when properly done (using the correct filters, avoiding primary reds), an anaglyph will present an easyly viewed, full color 3D image of excellent quality.
