Actually, being away from any weekend probably could be advantageous. They
get a lot of weekend'ers due to the relatively short drive from the L.A.
area.  Possibly better deals could be had midweek.

P.S.- What percentage of the NSA membership is international?  We were talking
      about geometric and plane'ometric means -- but if there is a significant
      membership in Australia, the geometric mean may be off California,
      halfway to Hawaii.... even the previously mentioned tents might not
      work.  Would have to do things "Waterworld" style.
