Iloca film loading

3Dear all,

Last saturday, I became the proud owner of an Iloca II with 
carrying case (No documentation or manual alas).
Trying to load a test-roll gives me some problems, because
there is nothing on the take-up side to connect the film
leader to. Is there something missing here ?
Or is there a special trick to load ?
