As I understand it a hologram just captures on film the raypaths en
route and when illuminated properly lets them go on their way again.
So this means that the image only exists if a pair of eyes is there to
see it. Gee, back to one definition of sound, if a tree falls in the
forest there is no sound unless a pair of ears are nearby. BobH
(Most of the things we see pasted on magazine covers etc. are
pseudo-holograms, a derivative.)
