Kin Dar

I was thrilled that people were discussing the Kin Dar this past 
weekend.  I use it as my second camera ( a Kodak being the first)  I am 
using it with a after school class I am teaching at my school on 3d 
photography.  I have had some shutter problems but it seems to be doing 
ok for right now.  Ill let you know how it fairs with about 15 8th 
graders using it.  I wanted to do something different for our 
afterschool program and was thrilled that my proposal was accepted.  We 
meet Tuesday's and Thursdays and practice shooting 3-d.  I have them 
making 3x3 prints and mounting them on cards to start with. If they 
follow through with it, I will let them shoot some color slides.  I can 
process all of these myself so we can do it in an amount of time that 
the short attention span of 6th 7th and 8th graders does not seem to 
have affected their enthusiasm yet.  
If my school ever gets its own web page, I will post some of their work. 
 I am pushing for this.  
By the way, We are getting a digital camera at school and I plan on 
experimenting with some stereo possibilities(slide bar etc)  I will let 
you know what happens.  I do not think I will ever be as happy with this 
as with real film, but as long as they are buying for me to use, I will 
be happy to play with it.  I will just neet to figure out how to get 
both pictures on one page.  Iknow it will not be tough.Well I have 
rambled on long enough for tonight.
