Re: Realist light leak - need a Realist Ready Case

A while back I sent a message asking if anyone had a
Realist ready case to suit a Realist 2.8 Custom. The
best lead I was given was a company called Pacific Rim
Camera, who listed 3 cases on their web page but did not
supply details on the quality of the items.
I contacted Pacific Rim camera immediately via
email but did not receive a reply. Twelve hours later
I tried again, still no reply. Getting desperate I braved
the time zone difference and phoned the company. They
received the my email messages but had not had time to
reply due to the sudden demand ( surprise ! ) for Realist
camera cases. Two have been sold, the remaining case has
a few problems and sounds like it has seen happier times.
Dalia does not have any cases in stock and I still
have to check with Harry Poster. Locally ( Australia ) they
tell me the cases are quite rare and one may turn up if
I check in every month or so.
Pacific Rim camera are selling the cases for
US$15.00, if anyone has a case in excellent++ condition
and would like to sell ( case must be suitable for 2.8
Custom ) I would be willing to pay more than US$15.00.
Anyone tempted ? :>)
