A European company called Miro have just released a PC 3D accelerator
SVGA graphics card (almost as fast as Matrox Mystique) with a built in
infra red interface for Simuleyes cordless LCD glasses (supplied in
package) and a composite video output channel (PC->TV). A version with a
sound chip with 4 channel surround sound capability will also be
available. The price of basic model is about US $290, and includes
special enhanced versions of true stereoscopic games with 3D rendering
such as Descent II, and hopefully could be used for other 3D graphics
    visualization and Virtual Reality applications.
