Check out Alan Po's article on anaglyph images at
http://www.tc.cornell.edu/Visualization/contrib/cs490-95to96/lpo/cs490.html
This is a simple introduction to anaglyph images. The author
uses IBM's Visualization Data Explorer (DX) to create anaglyphs.
DX is a simple toolbox, which I sometimes use if I want to have
a quick preview of an unknown data set. It is fairly self-explanatory,
and provides an online manual for help. Most university have a
DX campus license.
You can find a detailed 3D book list on Dan Shelley's home page:
http://205.238.80.78:80/3dbydan/
You can also try Bob Mannle's pages on anaglyphs:
http://www.tisco.com/3d-web/ana_demo/pana.htm
Or simply enter "anaglyph history" as search terms at
http://www.altavista.digital.com
and you'll find tons of information!
Hope this helps!
