Just a reminder to those of you who like to enter your realist-format
slides in competitions--- Entries to the Chicago Stereo Camera Club's
Lighthouse exhibition are due March 12. Let me know if you need entry
forms. It's worth entering, even if you don't think your slides are real
good---you never know how the judges like them until you enter. The more
slides we get, the larger our show, since we accept 40% into the salon.
Even if your slides are not accepted, the $5 entry fee goes toward a good
cause-to help CSCC fund raise for the Chicago Lighthouse for the blind and
visually impaired through 2 showings and extra donations.

We do a multimedia presentation of the accepted slides (put to music and
professionally narrated by a local actor). The shows will be at the Des
Plaines campus of Oakton Community college at 7:30 PM on May 1 and at the
Naperville-Lisle Radisson hotel at 3 PM on May 4. 

To those of you reading this who are members of CSCC, remember that due to
the big snow storm, the January competition was postponed until the
February meeting, which is this Wednesday. You can also turn in your
Lighthouse entries at the meeting.
