VREX VR SURFER GLASSES

The VREX 'VR Surfer' glasses, while undoubtedly the current DEAL, in LCS
viewing has some serious deficiencies (which I am sure they are working to
overcome):  a limited field of view, somewhat erratic behavior vis a vis
location of emitter, and a tacky plastic 'Robocop' housing that was probably
designed to impress the 'gamers'.  Weigh the pros and cons ("you get what you
pay for").  The 3DTV glasses (even though they are wired, not wireless) that
I use in viewing and editing (and I've done a lot of both recently), are
still superior if you want clarity and field of view, and are willing to
suffer the flicker.  And then there are the higher-end Stereographics
viewers...all of this has to do with budget versus intended use.    

The VREX VR-2020 videoprojector, however, seems destined to change the way 3D
video is seen and appreciated.  This is the mode that will become the 'talk
of the town'.
