Personally haven't tried it but today I received the Stereo World
NOV/DEC 96 issue. They have an article on the VREX that was demonstrated 
at the Rochester convention this past summer. They also rate several other
LCS glassses in it. The article is on page 18 and the title is LCD 3-D
Glasses Wars! (LCD hmmmmm. ;-) ) 

On another note, did I beat Dr.T in getting my issue before him? He
hasn't commented on it yet! I guess he didn't get home yet.
