|Hi all,
|
|Once more I dip into the 3D well of knowledge. I asked earlier about
|producing anaglyph posters and was given a wealth of info. My
|question this time is twofold: Can Realist format slides be scanned in
|their mounts or do they have to be remounted in 2 x 2s? And, more
|importantly, is there a low cost alternative to Adobe Photoshop for
|turning the stereo pairs into anaglyphs?
|
|Thanks,
|Don
Hi Don (and others). I've successfully scanned in Realist cardboard
mounted clips (one at a time) via a Microtek 35t scanner. Of course
the picture comes in "sideways" and has to be rotated. Thats because
I just stick the side into the top of the scanner with the long axis
pointed up. It's a slow operation, though.
Since I use
Photoshop, I can't recommend another package myself, although some
people seem to like PhotoStyler ok.
