In the states you can get leather from Tandy, but I think
the best place to get thin leather might be from a book binder,
like J. Hewit & Sons Ltd. TANNERS AND LEATHER DRESSERS in
Edinburgh. (I haven't tried them, I just saw them on the WEB).
