Questions

Many thanks to those who sent me their replies to my questions of a
week or so ago. I now have more to think about!!!

But, also, I also have more questiions. But this time they are of a
different variety and again, I will say to reply to me directly and
not to this net.

I have read and re-read Ed Comer's "how to do it" on the Nikon Lite
Touch and turning a pair into a stereo unit. Since Nikon no longer
makes the camera, has anyone done anything with the models that are
available??? I spent the weekend going through Shutterbug and web
sites trying to find used ones to no avail.

Now I am not sure if it was here or on the "Tech-3D" net that I have
been reading about matching lenses. Don't worry, I read so much each
day, I am surprised I know what day it is. Anyhow, is there going to
be a problem with lenses of these unit not matching?? Does one have
to buy several cameras to get matching lenses???

I found (and I mean FOUND) an Olympus OM-1n camera stached in my lab
that much have got there when we moved into this building. I figure
it was purchased by a former faculty member but no one now knows
anything about any camera so it now is mine (and I mean MINE). To
make a stereo pair for "regular photography" or for stereo microscope
photography, I was going to get another OM-1n. All this talk of
matching the lenses has got me a little nervous about doing this.
OM-ln lenses are not cheap and I would never have any use for several
lenses as I normally use Nikon. How important is the lens matching??

I know the purists will have fun with this question about lens
matching. The talk has got me thinking more and more of a sliding
arrangement and the use of one camera.

Thanks.
