I would like to know WHY are stereo cards EASIER to share than stereo
slides. Slides are smaller then cards. They both need a viewer to be
viewed (freeviewing is not an option when showing stereo cards to
"unsuspected" friends). In both formats there is a simple viewer (the
cardboard that folds flat in slides and the hand-held pocket one for
prints) and there is also the quality viewer, the equivalent of the red
button or the stereoscope that might be equally easy/hard to use.

The only advantage of the prints that I see is that you can see the 2d
image easier, but we are talking 3-d, right?

So, why are stereo prints easier to share than stereo slides?
