Trying to identify a stereo card

Hi all,

I'm trying to identify a 3.5 x 7 " stereo card: It's an "American 
Scenery" card. It shows an old man whith beard and whiskers sitting 
on a chair in a garden, top hat on his knee and a cane in his hand. 
The caption says "Hudson River".
This puzzles me...
Is this a man nicknamed 'Hudson River', or is it a Mr. H. River, or 
did the "American Scenery" people stick the picture on the wrong 
mount?
Any ideas?
