****** I don't think so. It's a unique board. Based on the Verite 1000
chip, and I think there is information about the chip on the internet.
Several companies are using the same chip, in slightly different ways. The
write up at C/Net on hardware for stereo, 3D and *the other 3d*, has some
information about the chip, or at least mentions it.

You won't find much *out there* yet about JPS. It's a very very new thing,
as industry processes go. P3D is probably the best source for up-to-date
information. Website information will follow.
I don't know all that goes on behind the scenes so who's doing what as far
as *driving* is concerned is unknown. It will be a few months before these
companies will have a chance to make some of their new products available.
There is a lot of activity so I believe we are going to get a chance to see
some interesting stereoscopic related events over the next year or so. Time
to fasten the virtual seat belts, being projected holographically to your
sitting position right now.... ;-)
I've wondered the same thing about a generic viewer, but that's something
undetermined. The interface between the goggles and computer/image synch is
still a multi-hued creature. In time it will evolve more to our liking,
while we start getting the opportunity to see what we really do like... I
like that they are making some effort to cooperate and adopt common tools.
