Actually, I was thinking "promotion."

I would like to think this is the case, but there was nothing in the
article to suggest that is true.  He never said anything about how good,
useful, or interesting 3-D can be if done right.  He never suggested the
networks were merely falling short of the 3D quality level he expected.

Perhaps the group doing the 3D video contests could persuade Mr. Lowry to
attend a screening and introduce the man to quality 3D!
