Re the kid with the hot dog and the GG bridge.  If there's too 
much depth in the scene so you can't mount to anything, yet there 
is a fairly gentle increase in depth from near to far (no near 
stuff occluding something at infinity), then double depth might 
be the answer.  The RBT should be able to do double depth easily 
using ye old aluminum mask trick?  (Section 1.2 mm out of the 
center of the mask and tape it back together.)  Plunk that mask
in one o' them wiiiide RBT's and Bob's yer uncle.  Has anyone
tried this with an RBT?
