Unfortunately, I bought it second hand, though still in the original 
packaging.  I may try to find another cartridge to test it with.  Does anyone 
(George?) have any guess as to the percentage of cartridges which cause 
problems?  This seems like a serious design flaw, if the manufacturing of the 
cartridges is outside the tolerance of the viewer.
