Dear Larry,

Welcome to P3D!

Since you mentioned your father had a camera in 1947,  I wonder if he was
involved with the "Stereo Guild?"

I noticed in issue No 1 that a W.H. Weakley from Houston, TX submitted
landscape and flower slides for the "Slide Exchange."  If yes, WOW - a
second generation stereo photographer!

For those not familiar with the "Stereo Guild" -  it was a membership
organization started by Herbert McKay.  Mr. McKay, a stereo authority in his
own right,  produced "The Third Dimension" Stereo Guild's Technical Bulletin
for several years.  I am fortunate enough to have all the issues and that's
how I noticed W.H. Weakley's name.
