Great! =)

Yes, I am looking for all manners of feedback!

Actually, I have no desire to make this a for profit venture. I hope
that 25 or so people would be able to spend and average of $25 each
($625) for the CD. That would allow me to break out at about even for
what I expect the time and hardware investment to be. If it goes beyond
that, GREAT!, but that is not my goal, and so far, only about 8 people
(including me) are interested...

Any editors willing??? (to buy even?) =)

I hope that people would be willing to have their entire site
represented on the CD... Let's see! =)

I like this... I think it would be a good size limit. However, one thing
I was thinging about adding is an 18 MB anaglyph created from a good
stereo pair on a Photo-3D... Then the viewer could zoom in and see
extremely specific detail without loss caused by comression, etc... It
is quite amazing, but obviously hard to share on the net.

Like I said in an earlier message, I think that a lower price for the CD
for people contributing sites would be a good idea. That way the sots of
production are still covered, and yet there is a small kickback for
their work creating their own site. Does that idea sound fair?
As I said, I am not interested in profit with this idea, just
preservation of Web 3D information and speed of access to it without the
need for actually being connected to the web. I think we can do this,
but I do need to hear more from you all before I start actively working
on this thing...
