Thanks to all, about my query concerning fuzzy pictures.

They are fuzzy throughout the image. As for Bob's suggestion that
it might be the reduced depth of field, no I don't think that is
the problem. I notice the image being fuzzy throughout the
different distances in the scene. This is regardless, if I focus
for the subject of interest or use hyperfocusing. Even if I focused
improperly (which I rather doubt) the scene would be sharp at some
distance.
As to Dr.T asking if it's with the Realist I got from him, actually
it is, BUT I have noticed this problem with subsequent Realists,
Ilex or otherwise, FED, and P&S cameras. Don't remember about
the SLR since I don't use it as much (just like Paul!).
I thought about camera shake, but ruled that out. I do remember
some P3D posts mentioning that wider than f11, causing fuzzy pics
on at least 2 occasions. Don't know if I read it out of context
or not. I also have a graph showing that the film resolution being
optimal in the middle apertures, with the resolution suffering
due to spherical abberation at the wider apertures and fraunhofer
diffraction at the smaller apertures. Now it's fine and dandy
theoretically, but having said that, I have to bow out to the more
knowledgable and experienced replies, that mention practically it's
not observable.
Gabriel, going back to the drawing board.
