RBT - fast food of projection mounting

Picture this:

It is 10:30 pm and you have 50 slides to mount for an important
stereo presentation tomorrow morning. What do you do:

1. Mount them in aluminum and glass so you go through the
    night without any sleep.

2. Mount them in Spicer mounts so you miss both the sleep and
    peace of mind.

3. Mount them in RBT mounts and you got to bed at 12
midnight all assured for a nice job tomorrow.

(Those who say that you should not put yourself in the position of
having to mount 50 slides at 10:30 pm before the stereo presentation
obviously don't know what it means to live in the "fast track")

I have become a firm believer of the RBT mounts for quick and clean
mounting job. In my mind, RBT mounts are the "fast food" of stereo
slide mounting. But, unlike fast food, they taste good, they are
good for your health, can be easily recycled and they are expensive!!!

When I presented my "Science" program at the O-hi-O Stereo Photo-
graphic Society I had mounted all my slides in Spicer mounts.
This took two days to finish and did not work very well in projection.
For my (more important) Chicago presentations I remounted most
slides in RBT mounts, plus I mounted a bunch of new ones. That took
just a couple of hours and the alignment in projection was perfect.

>From now on I will mount most projection slides in RBT mounts,
except for the most valuable ones that I want to keep in glass
plus those who need the 4p full height mounts or tricky
alignment/cropping which I would like to mount in aluminum mounts.
(Jon has mentioned tricks to use and preserve the aluminum mounts
inside the RBT but if I have taken the time to mount in an aluminum
mount, I might as well slap two pieces of glass and finish with it.)

For my everyday slides, I am still looking for the perfect mount.
RBT is way too thick for my taste.
