That's correct! Remove the black bakelite and you will see that
right at the center there is a large screw that holds this black
mask and the viewfinder lens. There is a bit of play in positioning
the mask. It seems that yours needs to be pushed down. When done
and putting the screw back you must make sure that the mask is levelled.
This simple adjustment is very easy and well within the reach of the
unexperienced repairman. -- George Themelis
