P3D "Bogus 3-D" Guy - An Important fact revealed!!

I sent a photo to the person who made the offer to turn a 2D photo into 3D
and the results were as have been described on this list.  With my
anaglyphed photo he added a note saying that he feels badly that he's being
attacked by "the entire 3D industry" and can't understand why. He also said
that some of the mail he received "slandered and cursed me out".   Please
understand that this is a 15 year old boy who thinks that he might have hit
on something good, and for him, this is a very exciting thing.  With the
same energies that we've spent on defaming him, we might just the same give
him some tips to correct his attempts.  This kid seems to have hit on his
"invention" with no 3D affiliation or guidance.  He was brave enough to try
it out.  This is the truest path toward invention.  He makes no money from
this, and wrote me that he does it because it makes people happy.  I'm as
much a 3D snob/devotee/purist as all others on this list, but I still can
find a glint of admiration within myself for this boy because he dares to
try.  How many 15 year olds are there who might even have a fleeting thought
about 3D much less think he might try to make some?  Of late 3D has become
the term to use for those who cannot spell 'perspective'.   Here's a kid who
knows the difference.  I suggest we no longer defame this kid.  I suggest
rather, we encourage him to explore other avenues and methods with which to
create pictures with depth.  Perhaps one day, he'll become one of us.
