P3D Re: Peanut Slave

>Where does it "directly" plug in?

>From the picture in the Porter's catalog it appears that it plugs
in a PC cord. So you need to put the cord to your flash and then
attach the peanut at the end of the cord.

What if the flash does not have a PC cord terminal? (many newer/smaller
flashes do not have those) Then you need a "hot shoe adapter"
shown in the same page of Porter's catalog. This little accessory
has a hot shoe to plug the flash and a PC cord comes out of it.
The same accessory is needed if you want to use the flash adapter from
Reel 3-D with a Realist and a flash that does not have a PC terminal.

If I were to buy a flash slave, I would pick the 13-0399 (shown in
the same page of the catalog) which has a hot shoe and a tripod
socket to attach the flash on a light stand, tripod, etc.
