P3D Multiple 5P Stereo Cameras

To the recent question as to why anyone would want more than one type
of 5P format camera.
My Realist 3.5 - Fast loading. Slightly hyper. Viewfinder between
the taking lenses for good in-camera composition, even close-up. Lens
cover/sunshade. Weight helps keep camera steady, as well as forehead
bracing. Easy double exposure (on my early Ilex model). Sturdy
cold-war construction for rough conditions and self-defense.;-) Large
clear view in finder. Readily adaptable to modern flash. Looks good
with blue jeans.
My TDC Vivid - Closer to ortho. Shutter settings continuous.
Automatic cocking with advance and quick exposure adjustment and depth
of field indication for quickly-changing, snap-shooting situations.
Light weight when I'm lugging a lot of other stuff. Button in front
pressed towards me lessens chance of vertical shake. Looks good with
a suit.
BTW - I always had the notion that a beamsplitter would be a good tool
for set-up portrait work. Not too hyper, compatible with longer FL,
nice image shape for portrait composition. Is there a better set-up
readily available for this purpose?
Bruce
