The idea described above is forbidden by eBay.

Section 5 of the eBay privacy policy states:  "eBay hereby grants to you a
license to use such information only for: (a) eBay-related communications
that are not *unsolicited commercial messages*"

This is a good rule.  The last thing anybody needs is more junk mail.  Why
would a fine organization like the NSA want to get involved with spamming,
anyway?

If a person wanted information about 3D clubs, they'd use a search engine
and find them.  If they can figure out eBay, they can figure out a search
engine.


(I sent this email earlier, but it was rejected because someone quietly
removed me from this list.  I don't know who or why.  But for some reason,
I have been added back just as silently.)
