I didn't find any links or pictures of the Minolta side of things. There was
a caution on one of the pages intended for prospective investors warning
that it was possible that Minolta could fail to develop the stereo digital
camera system, implying that if that happened, all bets were off on the
success of the project. It would be great to have such a device, and maybe
the demand will be greater than they anticipate. Wouldn't that be nice!
It said a strong flash, it didn't say two flashes. To get a usable wireframe
model, the two images may have a wider than typical interocular spacing. It
could even be extremely toed-in, if the total intention is usable structure
information. We need a picture of the intended camera to determine the
suitability for other uses. Still it is a step in the right direction for
cameras.
