I have a Franka viewer that I'm not altogether thrilled with. The
lenses are pretty small and it is tough to see the entire image while
wearing glasses.

Last night I decided to try and make a 2x2x2 adapter for my Saturn
Medium Format slide viewer. The first attempt was to cut a piece of
matte board in an E shape so that I could slip slides in from the top.
I then realized that the front (rounded corners) opening of a MF slide
mount matched the outer dimensions of a 2x2 slide. I taped a couple
of these together to get a thicker adapter and it seems to work OK.
With this viewer I can easily see the entire slide mount. Eventually
I'll probably go back to trying an E shaped adapter so that I won't
have to take the adapter out of the viewer for each pair.
