P3D View-Master Reel Blank situation

Hello,

There's been some discussion about the availability of Reel Blanks now  and
in the future.  Here's some more information that has comes directly from
the source at Fisher Price.

Right now there's a delay because of a aluminum shortage.  Seems that the
aluminum necessary for production is the same used in food packaging for
the U.S. Armed forces.  This material is being allocated and Mattel's more
popular products get first picks, so View-Master has to wait.

Fisher Price expects the shortage to subside in  30-40 days.  Then they
will try to run at least 75,000 of them - depending on our order
projections and the order projections of other dealers that carry them.
They expect this run to supply the demand for several years.

At this time there are no plans to retire the reel making machine.
