Dear Bob;
You don't know me but I was reading your post on vacuum tubes and the lack 
their of. Here in Southern California, there is a electronic swappmeet every 
month at TRW in Engelwood. It is sponsored by the TRW Amateur Radio Club. If 
you did not already know this this I need not say more. And if not through 
there web site or on the radio you may find some of the tubes you are 
looking for. Although it have become a computer swappmeet rather then 
Amateur Radio, there are still a lot of old times with their older radio 
gear that  you may have what you need.
