Right! In my case, a member of the Pasadena Stereo Club who does
frequent metal work on a lathe, made a simple aluminum adapter for me in
one evening. We copied it from an adapter that Dr. John Hart had. It
consists of a hefty cylinder with the inside diameter matching the Bolex
projection lens barrel and the threaded outside diameter cut to fit the
projector. Now I can use the Bolex lens with my used Bell and Howell
projector, model 1592, which uses only the large diameter lenses.
