In a message dated 99-09-25 10:24:22 EDT, you write:
In digest 3516, George quotes Mark who saw advertising materiels for sale. I
quote yet again:
<<
>I was ferreting around on ebay in search for a second realist when I
>noticed the various Realist adverts for auction.
>
>It would be a cool resource if someone who had these already could do
>hi-res scans that could be put up on a website.
In what respect at these various Realists different from each other?
I am asking because there are only 3 different Realist models and
these look very much alike. >>
I believe, if I read the first post correctly, that it is the ADS that are
different, not necessarily the cameras. Vintage advertising gives an
interesting glimpse into the mindset of a bygone era. Piaggio has had a
group of their ads from the forties through the sixties up on their website.
I wonder about the copyright(s): have they expired by now, and if not, is
David White enforcing them? Perhaps Tom Martin could comment, since he
recently used the logo on his clothing. Tom, how about it?
