That being said... my first real camera hack was to Siamese a pair of
cheap plastic cameras. Roughly the same quality as a disposable, except
you could reload it. One shutter speed, fixed 'focus' and a choice of
three apetures. It was a manual 1-3-1 advance system. Worked passably
well really. I didn't include it in my hacking book though. Two
reasons: It was just TOO cheezy, although it's a quicky that can be
finished in one afternoon with only the most basic parts. Also, I no
longer have the camera. I screwed up the spacing slightly so I turned
it into a panoramic camera instead. :)
