P3D Possible 3D viewer hack

I recently received a catalog that had an interesting kaleidoscope called the "Mesmerizor". It's described as a "two-eyed, black light kaleidoscope" and looks just like a stereo slide viewer at first glance. I ordered one and got it yesterday.

I'm a 3d print person myself, but thought that this device might be of some use to a hacker as a stereo slide viewer project. I don't have any desire to take mine apart, but it looks like it would be easy enough.

The instruction sheet lists the maker (importer?) as Think of it!, 4474 Market St. #504, Ventura, CA 93003
