[photo-3d] FED M battery alternatives

Sorry for the late reply but I have been on holiday and actualy tried to
postpone my E mail the old photo-3d way which did not work so I have been
reading through it anyway.

I found difficulty getting a new battery for my Fed the first time I needed
a replacement after buying it, I tried Boots chemists ( Drugstore). They
had none in that particular shop but they did locate a small stock elswhere
and I was negotiating buying the entire stock when another sales assistant
commented that my battery looked like the ones for the "Braun Independant"
portable hair curler. So I tried one of those and it worked I have replaced
the battery with one of these at least once since. Sometimes you need to
ask for one sometimes they are just hanging up in a blister pack, but if we
are now phasing out mercury batteries in the UK perhaps these will disapear
as well.
