start a debate, there sure has been plenty of it.

To me these may be the best posts on the subject.  I
would add to Gary's comment that it is quite probable
that different users remember colors (and pretty much
everything they experience) somewhat differently.  So
some people may find Kodachrome jives better with their
visual recollection, though apparently Fuji's research
shows their colors jive better with the memories of the
majority of consumers.

I find that the *ways* in which current Kodachromes
deviate from my memory are so jarring that the weirdness
of the visual experience interferes with enjoying the
stereograph.

Fuji's colors are a better match for my memory, and when
they deviate from it, they do so in a way that is pleasing
to me.  I don't have to force myself to stop noticing the
film and its odd colors to enjoy the images.
