Well, I (personally) have gone into MF stereo as a quite deliberate attempt
to slow down the passage of film through my camera!
Even with a fully manual 35mm stereo camera, I can set it up for the
conditions and not change the settings for hours. This allows me to _really_
hosepipe a subject - and then select when I get home.
With MF, directly _because_ I only have 5 or 6 pairs on a film, I set up the
camera on a tripod, study the scene, move the camera a bit, study the scene
some more, see the bits of litter on the floor and remove them etc etc etc.
I end up with a far higher percentage of good slides than with the 35mm. And
it's not just the SaturnSlide viewer and large amount of film that's giving
the effect!
