Well, I (personally) have gone into MF stereo as a quite deliberate attempt 
to slow down the passage of film through my camera!

Even with a fully manual 35mm stereo camera, I can set it up for the 
conditions and not change the settings for hours. This allows me to _really_ 
hosepipe a subject - and then select when I get home.

With MF, directly _because_ I only have 5 or 6 pairs on a film, I set up the 
camera on a tripod, study the scene, move the camera a bit, study the scene 
some more, see the bits of litter on the floor and remove them etc etc etc.

I end up with a far higher percentage of good slides than with the 35mm. And 
it's not just the SaturnSlide viewer and large amount of film that's giving 
the effect!
