When I have to tape chips in place, I use little adhesive dots. You can
get these from any archival materials suppliers. I have got them from
Book Binders, but Light Impressions I think offers a similar product. All
you need to do is use a little. I have also used adhesive paper tabs and
cut them in half. A friend of mine uses a dab of adhesive wax which seems
to work.
