Exactly.  So, why are you asking me to try both a FED
and an S1?  You (or whoever wants to decide what to get) 
should try both, not me.

Not just "best"... try "THE best", i.e. better than any
other stereo camera in the market.  But I have seen
Grant Campos' scenic and night pictures without anything
close to the camera and they knocked my socks off.

It is close enough.

You can always turn it off and focus manually.

these two cameras.
