[photo-3d] Digital and photo-3d

I've been lurking here for a few weeks but the recent LCD shutter question 
has prompted my first posting.  I have other questions related to that, but 
they seemed better addressed in a seperate thread.
In my short time here, I have seen very little discussion of digital stereo 
images.  The thrust seems to be slides with either personal viewers or 
projectors.  While I have several chemical cameras and enjoy shooting film, 
I have no plans to do stereos on film.  All of my stereo work is done 
digital and viewed on a computer display.  Does anyone else on the list 
share this interest?
My current project is building a twinned digital rig.  The current hurdle 
in the the project is allignment of the two CCDs and bodies.  Is there any 
interest in reading more about (or helping out) with this topic?
